Hi, I recently played a few rotary valves Tubas and it seems that the combination of 2+3 on these tubas are very stuffy, exception for a hirsbrunner tuba. It is especially bad for a Cerveny 691 which I played. I play BBbs. Just wondering if there are any tubas which is has a great 2+3 key combination. How about the VMI rotaries? Is it also true that with a fifth valve installed, this problem would be solved?
