I recently found a CD of the Chicago Symphony playing Pictures at an Exhibition and I was wondering if Arnold Jacobs is playing the bydlo solo. I assume he played in the recording at all. Now, this is not the Jarvi recording with Gene Pokorny playing (and I heard that Gene didn't play the bydlo solo heard in that recording), but I was wondering if this Arnold Jacobs playing with the CSO on this recording.
The original recording was on May, 1980.
Also, while on the subject of Arnold Jacobs, where is the recording of him playing the Vaughan Williams Concerto with the CSO available?
