You might try one of those pillows in the shape of a wedge. It helps to stabilize the pelvic tilt while sitting. Check the distance from your legs to your leadpipe if you need to copensate your posture.

I recently had a slipped disc (ouch!) and it helped for me. Also, excercises from Dispokenesis, Feldenkreis or Alexander Technique can be a help for chronic back pain because they help the player to become aware of better posture, etc.
