The model number was 1240 (3valves)/1241 (4 valves) as late as the mid-1950s for certain based on catalogs I have.

The catalogs in the 1930's show the horns as fixed bell front, tuning slide in leadpipe, double loop third valve slide. Photos from the '30s also show removable bells both upright and fixed on both the 124X series and their rotary counterparts.

The 1950s catalogs show the horn as removeable bell front/or up, tuning slide after valveset, but still with the double loop third valve slide and the first valve slide adjustbable only from below and at the same height as the 2nd valve slide.

Horns made in the 80's on show the model # as 2341, with removeable bell, the single loop third valve slide, top tunable first valve slide and almost impossible to get to 2nd valve slide.
