Consider John Jones at the University of Louisville. He's a great guy, a fine player and teacher. I'm sure you could get in touch with him through the music school at the University.
Another possibility is Art Hicks who has just retired from the Louisville Orchestra. He's a fine gentleman who has the wealth of a lifetime of experience and a student of the master, Arnold Jacobs. Early in his career at Louisville he was a very successful junior high instrumental music teacher. I think that is worth a lot of consideration, since many great players are not necessarily good teachers. Contact me if you would like his number.
