I get the general idea of what one is, but I just want to know for sure what they are. What do they look like, do they sound much like a tuba, you know, the usual. The reason that I'm asking is because of an ophecleide (I'm sure I'm misspelling it) part to "The Poet and Peasant" that I recently received.
