I know this horn is a bit over 8k, but i just bought a B&S PT20 and it is great. I played a bunch of horns at both custom music company and brasswind and I liked it the best. I tried out a rudy meinl, I think it was the CCC, and it had beautiful tone, but it didn't speak well in the low range, although I'm told that can be fixed with the right mouthpuiece.
