Re the big mouthpiece/intonation thing: When I bought my Cerveny four rotor "euphonium" in C/Bb, it came with an 11CL mouthpiece. Intonation was pretty bad on some notes using this set-up. The cure? I put a shaved-shank Schilke 58 bass trombone mouthpiece on the horn, and almost all the intonation problems were solved. Moreover, the tone quality was improved (darkened) considerably. The guys in my quintet love the sound of this horn.

I say "euphonium" above because this horn looks more like a very small rotary-valve tuba. It's not an oval model. Its an upright configuration.
