Well, if I play it, it tends to play really flat. But maybe my tuning slide is too long for use with this thing.
The backbore on the beast is almost a straight pipe; there IS a taper, but it's not very much. Cup width is about 1.35" or 34 mm.
I use it as a paperweight and to scare horn playing friends...
