I know exactly how you feel. I know plenty of people who's parents or grandparents bought their horns for them. I am paying $90 a month on my $4000 yamaha euphonium, because my dad wouldn't help me more than a $500 start. He makes $94,000 and spends barely any of it on his kids, with the exception of child support, which isn't much at all. Oh well, at least I won't have any strings attached to him when the loans done. :)
