P.J., you should send in an audition tape to ITEC 2002. The pieces are the Claude Smith Rondo for Trumpet (cool piece with a lot of high F's in it) and the Heart of a Wolf by Neal Corwell for Euphonium and Tape (another different and cool piece). The tape has to be in by January 15 I think. You could postmark it by the beginning of January and by just fine I would think. That's when I'm postmarking mine! You'd have a shot at getting selected. Just make a good recording and send it! Hope to see you at the conference. I'm going to try to compete again this year (assuming I can get selected again!)
