I'm not sure that I would have pulled out a cb tuba to play the Requiem, but I'm glad that it worked for you.
Thanks for the suggestion about contrabass tubas Dale, but the F felt that way the first day I had it.
I don't WANT to get used to 4 or 5 notes that are 10-20 c. flat or sharp, or that has a vanilla Hirsbrunish sound, or that has a great scale and response but sounds too bright when pushed, etc., etc., etc.
