Record yourself speaking, and get back to me on it. Say it over and over again until it feels natural, like a real conversation, instead of a pronunciation lesson.
I teach all the time, usually to large groups and without a microphone. I do not mumble, and people hear what I say. But I don't ever want them to think I'm talking down to them by overemphasizing pronunciation.
