All of these tips are great. What I'll add, is that you want as little resistance as possible. Free-blowing is what you should look for. Most important is the sound, of course. Since you've narrowed it down to one model, now play as many of that model as you can. Find the one that makes the sound you want. If it blows free, is consistent throughout, and you can find a way to play it in tune (alt fingerings,slide pulling), buy it. (as long as you can pay for it)
