Oh, I have fun debating things, but it loses its fun when I debate with people who take things personally or who think a bit too much of themselves. That's usually when I bail.

Our friend in Memphis is a worthy target for such debate, because all the time he's attacking your arguments on the forum, or all the time you are attacking his, he's still your friend and is eager for the opportunity to demonstrate it. My problem with him as a debating partner is that I too rarely disagree with him.

Personally, I was proud of the pronunciation argument, because it allowed us to continue an enjoyable debate without the usual ad hominem attacks.

Those who can't tell the difference must be bewildered by that enjoyment. Too bad, because they miss a good time among friends.
