In Garrison Keilor's recording called the Lutheran's Guide to the Orchestra, he satirizes the stereotypes of the various instrumentalists in an orchestra. His comment about the tubist is he is the only guy in the orhcetras who get his deer every year and changes his own oil! Pretty funny but not too far from the truth. It sort of says that we take care of ourselves and don't worry about wat others think too much, and from what I've seen he is not too far from the truth.
