Thats right there ARE a lot of CD-using J-boxes now, funny you should mention that.
In the thirties and 40's clubs and halls and theaters had house bands
in the 50's and 60's Jukeboxes contributed to the loss of work for these WORKIN musicians
Today we have CD's which cost less than a pizza to own and can capture for posterity the most amazing orchestral performances....we have home stereos capable of reproducing amazing fidelity. We also have orchestras going broke and a public that thinks Brittney's boobs and abs are more relevant than symphonies.
Maybe it's just a string of un-related facts on a timeline, and if so, I guess another pointless waste of bandwidth. ;^}
