Good day all!
I have a Miraphone 188 and a miraphone gig bag that's a top loader. It's not the best of quality, but it works. Well, today, as well as many other days, my heart skipped a beat or two when I had to put my tuba on it's bell then lower the bag on top of it. There's a second in that process where I can't see the tuba because the bag is blocking it and I have to use both hands to support the bag and open the lid of the case, so I can't keep the tuba steady while loading. it's just sometimes the lid will get MUCH to close to swiping out my dear baby and I'm not liking it!
Is there a better way to do this?
Also, is there a way to put extra padding in the bag or do you just have to get a new one? As careful as I try to be, I'm afraid my tuba may be getting a baby dent here or there and I think a little extra padding in key places should do the trick till I can afford a new one. Any ideas?
