Hi. I am auditioning for UNC-Chapel Hill in January. For the audition, it says "You should be prepared to offer three pieces or movements in contrasting musical styles and tempi." Any suggestions on what I should play? I just don't know what to use. I'll be buying some new music over the next few days. I already have Morris's Introduction to Orchestral Excerpts, Rubank's Concert and Contest Collection, Arnold's Fantasy for Tuba, Gregson Concerto, Vaughan Williams Concerto (impossible for me for now). I'll be using a CC for the auditon (which I got less month ago and I'm still having some trouble with the fingerings). Technically, I am a little weak right now because of the CC, and the BBb I was using is not in good playing condition, so I can't play anything really technically demanding. Thanx to anyone who can help.
