I was thinking the same thing. Had I a coupla grand to throw away, I could have the York Master perfectified and silvered. But an even greater deterrent than the money is the time that it would spend away from me, and I just like playing the thing too much. If it ever needs the valves redone again, or if it meets with some terrible accident and has to be repaired anyway, then I might consider it then, but not just to make it pretty.
