No shift, no finger over the end for "friendly" backpressure.
It's loud, but not as loud as when the horn get done with it!

p.s. Most guys can get down to low G or F, as the horn's backpressure helps the lips buzz these notes tremendously, especially downwards. I just worked on buzzing as low as possible with the mouthpiece for giggles, and I can buzz to pedal G with a shift. It really does help get these notes "loud".
