I have been playing on a Conn-Helleberg 7B since I was in 5th grade....I don't know if I'll ever switch. The same mouthpiece I played my first Bb was the same mouthpiece that I got a $10,000 scholarship for nailing Ricercar by Gabrieli as a senior in HS. The only thing I have ever done was bought my own from David Fedderly because my original one was my tuba instructor's from his days with Arnold Jacobs at Northwestern. The only other mouthpiece I have is a Miraphone C4 which is a rainbarrel compared to my Helleberg.
