Low Pitch/Modern Pitch

I have two 1933-35 King Symphony bell-front Eb front-valve tubas. They play at about A=332 with everything pushed 'in'. How much will I have to cut to make the horn play at A=440? The lead pipe has a tuning slide and I figure I could take out about 3" of tubing (total) there, but would the other slides need to be cut as well? Incidentally, I ran across some 1930's advertising that billed these horns as being available in 'low pitch only'. I thought the popularity of low pitch horns went out well before then.
