Floyd froze 3 Nirschls his Yamaha F and an Alex F, he was very happy with all of them. Why else would he do more?

Fritz Kaenzig froze his Yorkbrunner and was also happy.

Scott Mendoker also froze his Yorkbrunner and was happy with the results.

Gene Pokorny froze a Nirschl that he latter sold but he did like it better after freezing.

I froze my Nirschl and it made it closer to the CSO York in feel and sound.

I also froze an HB2 CC, Alex F, and Besson Eb.

Of all the tubas frozen when I was doing repair work (I would guess 300+) only 1 customer did not notice a positive change. His horn had to have major repairs and the bottom bow had not been soldered on one side at the factory. After all the work was done he thought that it did not feel as loose. I think this had more to do with the bow than cryo.

To me it helps piston horns more than rotors but is worth doing on any good horn. It will not make a dog great but will tweak a good/great horn and make it better.

All cryoreatments are not the same; the prep treatment and temp ramp are what makes it work best. Call Wayne at the Brass Bow 847-253-7552 for the best cryo.
