When I bought my 2155 from Dillon, they had just gotten a shipment of them in; they had 4 new ones and one used one for me to try. The one I bought was one of the new ones, and I bought it because it played (at least to me) WAY better than any of the others. Even the one I bought was not as responsive as I would have liked at first, then Matt switched the main tuning slide with one of the others, and Bingo! Excellent response. AFAIK, the 2155 is not considered a "handmade" horn, but the 2000 is. (I put handmade in quotes because Meinl-Weston does themselves on their website. Kind of makes you wonder to what extent the horn is "handmade"...)

I'd be curious to know which horns are built more "by hand" in relation to others.
