If you want some real bell sticker shock, several years ago I went to UMI to try to purchase a bell for a 22K sousaphone (fiberglass horn, large-bore, short-action valves), and they asked me $1,500.00 for one of their 5 or 6 remaining bells - a PLASTIC BELL!
