I would like to make a valve extender or button extension for my 1976 B & H Imperial EEb tuba but it would be best if I knew the thread size of the valve button. Does anyone know?
Also, has anyone done this by soldering onto the original button a piece of metal to extend it more toward the finger? Other people have made extensions but not that I know of on B & H Imperials, the buttons of which when fully done are partially below the level of the valve cap around them.
