After re-reading the post below, I see I was mistaken about this particular case; there was no intimation that the Mead MPs were BETTER, but rather that they were more challenging (also a somewhat puzzling notion).
However, I have definitely seen others here opine that a Monette or some such was just a superior MP, and that everyone ought to get one.
