This past octubafest I was talking to Roger Rocco, and (somehow) the conversation went to Eb tubas. He mentioned that if anyone built a professional 6/4 Eb he would buy it. I thought a 6/4 Eb might be a neat project horn... Antbody tried it?
Large Eb valve set- Wilson or a cut down rotary PT, (I didn't like how their Eb turned out- no core to the sound) and maybe the bell and couple branches of the 5/4 Cerveny or PT6...
