Agreed. Skepticism is the consumer's only defense being cheated. It is the burden of the salesman to overcome that skepticism. While Mr. Chen may be a brilliant young tubist, and could hardly help being better than me, his name does not possess sufficient credibility to overcome my skepticism. I might be more skeptical if he would explain what it does and why it is better than a pencil and a stack of washers.
