Just wanted to let everyone that is in the greater Beantown area know that there is a very skilled repairman at the Osmun music store named Jim Engele. I brought my Hirsbrunner Euphonium in yesterday for some modifications and was very pleased with the work and the low price. I had one of my spit valves changed to a Amado(sp.?) water key and had one of the braces that was getting in my way removed. Everything was done very cleanly so that in the end the horn looked like it came from the factory that way. The best part was that I was in and out of there in about 40 minutes with the modified horn in hand. Great work Jim. I highly recommend his work to any pro or amateur that is serious about their horn.
