Hi All,

I saw this thread start and thought I should respond. Usually when we list a players name with a tuba it means that this was an important instrument in their arsenal. The MW2145 in question was sold yesterday. The person that had it on consignment purchased it from Ed Diefes. Ed played the tuba in many situations where his 6/4 MW2165 was not always the color he wanted. I think he used the MW2145 in small orchestra , quintet and other chamber settings. He owned this tuba for many years and from the lacquer wear in places it was used for significant amounts of time. Ed sold this tuba when he purchased a CB50/G50 to replace it for the same uses. Hope this helps.

Sincerely,
David Fedderly
