My thanks go to the Texas State University tuba ensemble for premiering my octet, 'Entrada,' at this evening's concert. I sent the piece to them two weeks ago thinking they would put it on next semester's program, but they worked it up in three rehearsals and opened the program with it. A bold and brazen group.
