Hey, I didn't know they weren't worth the $4500. I just thought they were since the local University (who's band director filled in for ours at that point in time) just had bought 12 or these horns. I now whole-hartedly agree with you on getting a Conn, King or Martin sousa...although I have never played a Conn or King(tuba)I liked, but I think that's because they were old beat up school instruments and small bore models that seemed out of tune in comparison to my larger bore Cerveny at the time. Who knows...I'm looking for a 20K, but am on a budget.
