This description is very mediocre...but here it goes:
186 is the standard vanilla tuba that most schools have/had (I love these).
185 is slightly smaller
184 is even smaller
187 is much like the 186, but "swollen" into a 4/4 tuba (188 is CC)
190 is a big tuba
All are rotory tubas will long bells. I haven't found a site that has them side by side. However, Baltimore Brass has a 185 and I think a 184 in their used stock.
