I have a great HB21, wonderful CC5u 60's 186, Y621 F, 1900 Cerveny BBb. I've owned a very nice CC cut Holton 6/4 and presently have a York 1915 front action BBb 6/4. I dig each instrument for the special sound it offers and the unique way they play. When I pick up the 6/4 I feel like I'm playing a REAL TUBA! . . . the bottom, the depth of sound! I also prefer a 4/4 string bass to a 3/4. LOv dat York 6/4! Everyone should own a 6/4 at some time in thier life. Mania... yea!
