I just recently picked up an old trumpet for really cheap from an antique shop. I would like to find out more about it but have no idea where to start looking. Being a tuba player, I know alot of tubists like to collect antique instruments, find out all they can about them, and fix them up to be playable so I figured this is a good place to start. The instrument is a silver Concertone trumpet. I couldn't find the serial number on it but it looks like it says made in Chechoslovakia on the mouthpiece reciever. If anyone knows anything about these horns or can point me in the right direction please respond to this. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
