I have what appears to be an Italian made Helicon that I need to find out more info on. It is a Bflat (I think) - three valves - paddle type (rotary). It has a twelve inch diameter bell. The only info on the horn is in a medallion on the bell: *PREMIATA E PRIV ta FABB - ISTRUM - MUSICALI * MILANO * MAINO e ORSI
There are tuning slides for each valve and another on the main body.
Its all brass construction with nickel decorative trim around the outside of the bell;also has nickel trim as protection on main body parts.
Can anyone give me info on approx. age- value ?-Collectors?

Thanks (I'm a trombone player who lives in Las Vegas area and found this old helicon in an barn in Arizona. It is in playable shape- all valves and slides work. Doesn't need any major repairs but has collcted a lot of minor dings and dents during its lifetime.
