Alan Baer play a Miraphone 188 CC most of the time(I am almost positive haven't seen him in awhile). I have also heard that he is waiting for the new CC Miraphone the hit the market. I have heard some very exciting things from the people that are helping Miraphone build this beast of a tuba(Alan Baer and Roger Lewis) and it will be a huge improvment in the realm of the Tuba. If you want to know for sure I believe he is still at University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. They would have an email listed for him if you look around.
