Sadly, I no longer play this great horn, in fantastic shape! It is a 4/4 BBb Rudolf Meinl, with an 18" bell. The tone is fantastic. It is a 1980's horn, when Rudy Meinl's were at their best, IMHO. I once played on stage at Boston Symphony Hall with this horn, as part of a youth soloist competition with the BSO, back in the 80's.
Please give this horn a good home and some use. I am asking $4,000 or best offer. I have talked to several tuba players, and they all believe that this is a reasonable price. I have digital pics available. The lacquer is still in great shape. I have really taken care of the horn over the years. To see or try the horn, please contact me. I live on Cape Cod, in MA.
