The horn is a bell front, 3/4 size, BBb Conn, recording tuba dating to the early 1920's.
I have owned the instrument since the early 1960's and have recently had the valves rebuilt by Dan Oberloh in Seattle. The horn is in remarkably good shape and has the original silver finish. The only work that has been done (since I have owned the horn) is the recent valve work.
I believe the horn would be of interest to collectors or to beginning or intermediate players or to players needing a horn for ensemble (Dixie, Polka band) work. Possibly also as a second (rehearsal) horn.
