a concert coming up on BBb tuba, so I have been putting in a two hour practice session
to build up the tuba chops daily for the last six weeks, but my euphonium playing has become an ordeal, my lips feel soft and my tone, range and endurance have suffered. Tuba
is sounding good, though. Maybe if I did both horns all the time, like Mary Ann, it
might work out ok, but my experience is that you can't expect to start playing tuba a lot without having some negative effects on euphonium.
