In my opinion(IMHO), the price is a bit steep. Whether it is worth it or not is pretty subjective. It is a good book but only worth the $39 if the person is into studying/playing these excerpts. I would think knowing the excerpts is probably not as important to a euphonium player as orchestral excerpts are to the tuba player. All of this is, of course, being stated by a confirmed tuba player.
