A King neck is NOT DESIGNED to accept a mouthpiece.
You MUST purchase KING bits:
- The #2 bit fits perfectly into a King neck.
- The #1 bit fits perfectly into the #2 bit.
- A standard mouthpiece fits perfectly into the #1 bit.
There's little if any way around this*. Buy a pair of King bits...about $30 - $40, depending on the generosity of the vendor.
