If my eyes don't deceive me, there are 5 valves on this particular tuba. I think I may have read postings awhile back opining that Besson made a number of variations of the Barlow F. Would this be the large bell one that was mentioned in the post? Am I to assume that the tuba player is, indeed, the great Barlow? Righteous looking fellow.
