If it is what I think it is (and correct me if I'm wrong) it's the process of freezing an instrument to extremely low temperatures in an effort to improve the sound. I've heard Brasswind does it too, but you can do it cheaper by sending it directly to a company called Cool Note (no idea how to contact them, though). I don't know why it would work, but I know a french horn player who did this to his horn and he said that it was a lot more free-blowing afterwards (Christopher Smith, if any of you out there know him). It supposedly works best for new, factory-made horns, but I have no personal experience with the process and can't help you there. Hope that helps.
