Renton Technical College offers an 11 month program in Musical Instrument Repair. Located near Seattle, Washington, Renton's program covers brass, woodwind and percussion repair. Classes meet Monday through Friday from 8AM - 2:30PM. The facility has 20 student work areas, a soldering room, a buffing room, a lacquer booth and a dent removal room. There is a woodworking facility for both woodwind repair and guitar/violin refinishing which are offered as evening classes if desired. Tuition is approx. $2100.00 for the eleven month program.
