In the Recommended Basic Repertoire: Orchestral secton of The Tuba Source Book there is a reference to a publication by the American Symphony Orchestra League entitled Facing the Maestro: A Musician's Guide to Orchstra Audition Repetoire. I don't have a copy of this for myself yet but the article indicates that it lists everything requested at an audition and with what frequency. The part that I'm unclear about is the time period that this publication covers.
Has anyone seen this? Any commentary is welcome.
