I KNOW that James Jenkins WON that job. He showed up with some great equipment - a Marzan CC and a good Besson F, and was VERY well prepared. I will say this, though: It didn't help things for me when very early in the day (but after I had been advanced), when I could already see that the thing was probably going into the wee hours or the next day, I said quietly to my wife, "Do you just want to go on home, anyway?" That superman-like first trumpet player/personnel manager guy overheard me and said, "Oh, won't you please stay? Don't you want the job?", and before I could say something apologetic and reconcilatory my wife blurted out, "We already HAVE a job." I don't think that comment impressed him very much. :(
