I completely agree with Scott's comment. G is one of the best notes on the 2165, if you are blowing right. It is quite possible that force, not mouthpiece, is your problem. I own a heavy R&S, but don't use it because it produces too much edge! 24AW and its copies would work well, and Helleberg II's match nicely too. Try relaxing as much as you can. Those notes should pop right out.
